Authorities in Medellín have launched an investigation after an American citizen, identified as 41-year-old Williams Jason Edwards, was found dead on Monday morning, August 4, in a rented apartment in the Laureles neighborhood.
The body was discovered around 9:50 a.m. after police received an alert. According to early reports, the man had gone out the previous night with a friend to meet two women through a dating app. He was later found unresponsive in bed.
No signs of violence were observed, and investigators are exploring the possibility of substance-related intoxication. The case remains under investigation.
