One suspect has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a foreign tourist who was stripped of a luxury watch and diamond-studded gold chain worth 200 million Colombian pesos (approximately $51,000 USD) in El Poblado, Medellín, on July 31.

The tourist was intercepted by two armed men on a motorcycle while driving. Thanks to city surveillance and license plate recognition cameras, authorities tracked the suspect to the Manrique neighborhood, where a 24-year-old man was arrested, recognized by the victim, and the stolen items were recovered.
